The rhythm of life at St. Helen’s changes quite a lot over the summer months. Some of our regular activities go on vacation while some continue but in simpler or smaller form and some actually kick into higher gear.

Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect:

Busier than ever

  • Our volunteer gardeners and lawn mowers have their hands full caring for the beautiful grounds at St. Helen’s and at St. Mary the Virgin. If you’d like to join them, contact the office!
  • Pedalheads Day Camp fills our parking lot (and often our building) with young cyclists from Monday-Friday. Parking is limited during camp hours – and so is quiet – but the energy campers and staff bring is more than worth it!

On summer break

  • Evening Bible / Book Study
  • Monday Social Drop-Ins
  • Sunday School
  • Music Ministry Team

Ongoing

  • Tuesday morning Bible Study
    • generally fewer people and we meet in the nave rather than the Grace Room
  • Wednesday Craft Group
    • our dedicated crafters share Trinity Hall with Pedalheads – who do you think is noisier?
  • 4th Monday Midday Eucharists (no change except for limited parking)
  • 8 am and 10 am Sunday Eucharists (including coffee hour!)
  • Prayer and Pastoral Care continue to be available as needed.
