Virtual ChoirFest 2020 – Peace, Peace
For more than 35 years, Church and Community Choirs in Orleans have come together at this time of year for the Orleans Christmas ChoirFest, founded by Lynne Stacey, to sing for each other, and together, and to raise funds for the local foodbanks. The choirs didn’t want this year to be any different, as this year has been so different. So 5 choirs perform together, virtually, the song they always end the evening with “Peace, Peace” including Silent Night. We hope you will sing along with Silent Night, from home, and consider making a donation to your local foodbank.

A Christmas Prayer for Peace
Saviour ‘with us’, it is Your will to hold both heaven and earth in a single peace. Be present in all places of suffering, violence and injustice, and bring hope even in the darkest night.
Let the design of Your great love bring healing and reconciliation to this broken world and give peace to your Church, peace among nations, peace in our homes and peace in our hearts. In the name of Jesus, the Holy Child of Bethlehem and our Risen Lord. Amen.
