The liturgical season of Advent is a time of preparation and anticipation. We wait for Christmas but we also remember that Christ has already come, inviting us into the life of justice and peace that is God’s desire for all of God’s creation. We train ourselves to see Christ all around us so that we are better able to serve him. We commit ourselves to lives of hope, peace, joy and love so that we are ready to enter into God’s Kingdom!
There are many services, activities, and resources available at St. Helen’s to help you celebrate Advent and Christmas. If you have any questions, or if you find this a difficult season, our priests are always happy to speak with you. Call or email the office to arrange an appointment.
