The Branches: Youth Ministry: Our mission statement, incorporating ideas written by the youth is: St. Helen’s Anglican Youth Ministry, “The Branches”, intentionally develops friendships and character, and grows in the Spirit within a safe environment while having fun and reaching out to the community.
“The Branches” will restart our meetings on September 10 at 10:45 in Trinity Hall. All youth of the parish between 12 and 18 are welcome to attend. Our meetings consist of fun and faith with games and discussion periods. This year we will be following the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. Our group is always open to new members, and leaders. Contact any of the Youth Ministry Leaders for more information: email@example.com
A highlight for August 2018 will be the CLAY gathering which is an opportunity for Lutheran and Anglican youth from across Canada to come together and explore their faith through creating and engaging in community for 5 days in Thunder Bay. The cost to do this is significant, but we feel inspired and hope that we can count on your encouragement and financial support as we fund raise over the next year. The first fundraiser will be a Bake Sale in Trinity Hall during the coffee period on September 24. Donations will be gladly accepted, and please come to support the youth of the parish.
