The Branches: Youth Ministry: Our mission statement, incorporating ideas written by the youth is: St. Helen’s Anglican Youth Ministry, “The Branches”, intentionally develops friendships and character, and grows in the Spirit within a safe environment while having fun and reaching out to the community.
The Branches meet on Sundays in Trinity Hall, from 10:45am to 12pm. Our group is always open to new members, and leaders. Contact any of the Youth Ministry Leaders for more information: email@example.com
The Branches youth group continues to meet regularly with the same enthusiastic members. Meeting on Sundays at 10:45 in Trinity Hall. Ages 12-18 welcome! In May, The Branches have been discussing and learning of our own spiritual gifts and how we can apply them. Our service event for this month was helping out with the church clean up on May 13th.
Three of our youth enjoyed attending the Diocese Youth Conference (DYC) over the long weekend where the focus was exploring conflict and reconciliation (conflict with others, with ourselves, and with God) through worship, prayer, guest speakers, workshops, games, and time for reflection. With the help of Derek Reid in preparing worship music, we’re looking forward to hosting a Prayer & Praise service on Friday June 23rd at 7:30 PM which YOU are invited to attend!
The Branches leadership team is always open for new leaders, if you feel that is your calling. Speak to Olivia Pelling or the clergy for more information.
Thank you to our youth and to their leaders for their ministry in our parish.
All youth of the parish (12-18) are welcome. For more details contact the Church office or any member of the leadership team: Olivia Pelling; Ron Harder; Carol Danson; Chris Porter.
