"I am the vine; you are the branches." — John 15:5

The Branches: Youth Group

The Branches: Youth Ministry: Our mission statement, incorporating ideas written by the youth is: St. Helen’s Anglican Youth Ministry, “The Branches”, intentionally develops friendships and character, and grows in the Spirit within a safe environment while having fun and reaching out to the community.

The Branches meet on Sundays in Trinity Hall, from 10:45am to 12pm. Our group is always open to new members, and leaders.  Contact any of the Youth Ministry Leaders for more information:  youth@sthelens.ca

The Branches will take a break from the regular Sunday meetings during July and August and start again on September 10.  The group is planning some fun activities during the summer.  Ask any youth leader for further information.  An important activity planned for next summer is the CLAY 2018 Gathering. It is an opportunity for Lutheran and Anglican youth from across Canada to come together and explore their faith through creating and engaging in community for 5 days in Thunder Bay. The cost to do this is significant, but we feel inspired to go and hope that we can count on your encouragement and financial support as we fundraise over the next year. For more details contact the Church office or the leadership team: Olivia Pelling; Ron Harder; Carol Danson; Chris Porter

The Branches leadership team is always open for new leaders, if you feel that is your calling.  Speak to Olivia Pelling or the clergy for more information.

Thank you to our youth and to their leaders for their ministry in our parish.

All youth of the parish (12-18) are welcome.  For more details contact the Church office or any member of the leadership team: Olivia Pelling; Ron Harder; Carol Danson; Chris Porter.
